School Uniform
Class Uniform
All children (Nursery – Year 6) need:
- Bottle green sweatshirt or cardigan with St. Bernadette’s school logo
- Yellow polo shirt with St. Bernadette’s school logo
- Grey trousers/skirt/pinafore dress
- Grey/white/black socks
- Bottle green or grey tights
- Plain black flat school shoes without logos
- In warmer months the children may wear green checked summer dresses or grey tailored shorts
- Children in Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and 2 will need a school book bag to keep reading books, homework and school letters in.

All items should be clearly labelled with your child’s name.
PE Kit
Children come to school in PE kit on the day of their PE lessons.
For PE all children (Reception – Year 6) need:
- Bottle green T shirt with St. Bernadette’s school logo
- Plain, non-branded black shorts, leggings, joggers
- Plain, non-branded black hoodie – we discourage expensive designer brands. Minimise visible logos.
- White or black socks
- Trainers (suitable sports trainers not fashion trainers. Minimise visible logos.)
- Full PE kit should be worn on PE days, sporting events and after school clubs. School will provide children with a school football/rugby/sport T-shirt to be returned after the event.

No sports logos or branded clothes at all please. Some children are currently wearing a range of sports clothing on their PE day, which is not in line with our school uniform. Many thanks for your help with this.

Preloved Uniform
At St. Bernadette’s we aim to make our uniform as flexible as possible for parents, so generic uniform such as trousers, skirts and joggers etc.. can be purchased from a variety of outlets, particularly as they can become messy during the course of their learning!
FOSB hold second hand uniform sales throughout the year should you wish to donate uniform your children have grown out of or purchase preloved items for your children.
We are also lucky enough to have Rainbow Wishes shop in the village which may have preloved uniforms for sale.
If you ever need support in purchasing uniform, please do not hesiste in contacting the school.
