Reception and In-Year Admissions

Admissions to Reception Class

If your child was born between 1st September 2021 and 31st August 2022, they will start reception class at the start of the new school year in September 2026 and the online application service is now open. You can find out more about the online application process here.

If you wish your application to be considered for admission on the grounds of being a baptised Catholic, please print off & complete the Supplementary Faith Form and return this to school with evidence of your child’s Baptism before the closing date & ensure you apply online too.

If it is your intention to have your child baptised but you have been unable to do so, please contact your Parish Priest as a matter of urgency to arrange baptism before the national closing date for primary school admissions which is 15th January 2026.   Children who have not been baptised by this date cannot be considered under any of the ‘baptised Catholic children’ criteria listed below.

Information and timetables regarding the admission appeals process can be found here.
